Ingredients:

  • 2 (approx. 6 oz / 170g each) Sirloin Steaks, about 1 to 1.5 inches thick
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
  • 1 tsp Coarse Sea Salt
  • ½ tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ¼ tsp Smoked Paprika

Instructions:

  1. Remove steaks from the fridge 20-30 minutes before cooking to reach room temperature. Pat them thoroughly dry using kitchen paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Lightly brush both sides of the steaks with the oil. Sprinkle the spice rub evenly over all surfaces, pressing lightly so it adheres.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Arrange the seasoned steaks in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, ensuring air circulation space between them.
  6. Cook at 380°F (195°C) for 6 minutes.
  7. Carefully flip the steaks using tongs. Continue cooking for an additional 3 to 9 minutes, checking the internal temperature frequently until desired doneness (e.g., 130–135°F for Medium-Rare).
  8. Once the desired temperature is reached, immediately remove the steaks to a cutting board. Tent loosely with foil and let them rest for a full 5 to 10 minutes.
  9. Slice against the grain and serve immediately with your preferred sides.
