Ingredients:
- 2 (approx. 6 oz / 170g each) Sirloin Steaks, about 1 to 1.5 inches thick
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
- 1 tsp Coarse Sea Salt
- ½ tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- ¼ tsp Smoked Paprika
Instructions:
- Remove steaks from the fridge 20-30 minutes before cooking to reach room temperature. Pat them thoroughly dry using kitchen paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Lightly brush both sides of the steaks with the oil. Sprinkle the spice rub evenly over all surfaces, pressing lightly so it adheres.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Arrange the seasoned steaks in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, ensuring air circulation space between them.
- Cook at 380°F (195°C) for 6 minutes.
- Carefully flip the steaks using tongs. Continue cooking for an additional 3 to 9 minutes, checking the internal temperature frequently until desired doneness (e.g., 130–135°F for Medium-Rare).
- Once the desired temperature is reached, immediately remove the steaks to a cutting board. Tent loosely with foil and let them rest for a full 5 to 10 minutes.
- Slice against the grain and serve immediately with your preferred sides.
