Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 1.5 oz Apple Pucker
  • 1 oz Apple Juice
  • 0.25 oz Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3-4 Thinly sliced Granny Smith apple wedges

Instructions:

  1. Chill the glassware. Place your martini glass in the freezer for 5 minutes or fill it with ice and water. Note: A cold glass prevents the drink from diluting too quickly.
  2. Measure the spirits. Pour 2 oz Vodka and 1.5 oz Apple Pucker into your shaker.
  3. Add the mixers. Pour in 1 oz Apple Juice and 0.25 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  4. Ice the shaker. Fill the shaker to the brim with ice. Note: More ice actually means less dilution because it chills the drink faster.
  5. Seal and shake. Secure the lid tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosted.
  6. Prep the glass. Discard any ice or water from your chilled glass.
  7. Strain the liquid. Quickly strain the mixture into the glass to keep the aeration.
  8. Add the garnish. Slide 3-4 thinly sliced Granny Smith apple wedges along the rim or float them on top.
