Ingredients:
- 2 pounds (900 grams) bairdi crab legs
- 2 pounds (900 grams) snow crab legs
- Water for steaming (enough to fill a large pot)
- 1/2 cup (115 grams) unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons (30 mL) fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon (15 grams) fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon (5 grams) garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
Instructions:
- Rinse crab legs under cold water. Set a large pot with water to boil and add a pinch of salt.
- Place the bairdi crab legs in the steamer insert once water is boiling. Steam for 6–8 minutes or until heated through. Repeat with snow crab legs.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add lemon juice, garlic, and parsley. Mix well and season with salt. Keep warm until serving.
- Arrange steamed crab legs on a serving platter. Serve with lemon herb butter on the side.
