Ingredients:
- 2 pounds baby back ribs
- 1 can Dr. Pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions:
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and trim any excess fat.
- In a bowl, combine Dr. Pepper, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place ribs in a large baking dish and pour marinade over, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and chill for 1-2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C).
- Remove ribs from marinade, place in a roasting pan, cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 2.5-3 hours or until tender.
- Optional: Preheat grill to medium-high heat, brush ribs with barbecue sauce, grill for 5-10 minutes until glazed.
- Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before cutting. Slice and serve with remaining BBQ sauce on the side.
