Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds baby back ribs
  • 1 can Dr. Pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions:

  1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and trim any excess fat.
  2. In a bowl, combine Dr. Pepper, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place ribs in a large baking dish and pour marinade over, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and chill for 1-2 hours.
  4. Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C).
  5. Remove ribs from marinade, place in a roasting pan, cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 2.5-3 hours or until tender.
  6. Optional: Preheat grill to medium-high heat, brush ribs with barbecue sauce, grill for 5-10 minutes until glazed.
  7. Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before cutting. Slice and serve with remaining BBQ sauce on the side.
