- 1 cup (175 grams) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup (150 grams) chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or pecans)
- 1/2 cup (80 grams) dried fruit (e.g., cranberries or raisins)
- Optional: Sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, nuts, and dried fruits.
- Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets, spaced adequately.
- Optionally sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt on top of each cookie.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until cookies are golden brown.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
