Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown around the edges and slightly undercooked in the center.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
