Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (250g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (120ml) whole milk
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon (2g) baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon (1g) salt
  • ¼ cup (40g) chopped peanuts
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) melted butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease the baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter and sugar. Mix until smooth, then add eggs and vanilla; beat until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually pour in the milk and mix until cohesive.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. (Optional: sprinkle chopped peanuts on top and drizzle with melted butter.)
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
