Ingredients:
- 1 cup (250g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
- ½ cup (120ml) whole milk
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon (5g) baking powder
- ½ teaspoon (2g) baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon (1g) salt
- ¼ cup (40g) chopped peanuts
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) melted butter
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease the baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter and sugar. Mix until smooth, then add eggs and vanilla; beat until fully incorporated.
- Gradually pour in the milk and mix until cohesive.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. (Optional: sprinkle chopped peanuts on top and drizzle with melted butter.)
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
