Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Skyline Chili (canned or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 cup additional shredded cheddar cheese
- Chopped green onions or fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Beat until smooth.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
- Spoon the Skyline Chili over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar over the chili layer, then add the remaining cream cheese mixture on top.
- Top with the additional 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes, garnish with green onions or cilantro, and serve warm with tortilla chips or bread.
