Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (225 grams) spaghetti
  • 4 hot dogs, sliced (preferably beef or turkey)
  • 2 cups (480 mL) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup (240 mL) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup (50 grams) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
  • Extra mozzarella cheese (for a cheesier bake)
  • Sliced olives or diced bell peppers for added veggies

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente (around 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, sliced hot dogs, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well-coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly and press down slightly.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm.
