Ingredients:
- 8 ounces (225 grams) spaghetti
- 4 hot dogs, sliced (preferably beef or turkey)
- 2 cups (480 mL) marinara sauce
- 1 cup (240 mL) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup (50 grams) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
- Extra mozzarella cheese (for a cheesier bake)
- Sliced olives or diced bell peppers for added veggies
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente (around 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, sliced hot dogs, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well-coated.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly and press down slightly.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm.
