Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (150g) fresh blackberries
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 750 ml (1 bottle) dry red wine (such as Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon)
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Triple Sec)
  • 2 cups (480ml) soda water or lemon-lime soda
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Wash the blackberries gently.
  2. Slice the orange, lemon, and lime thinly.
  3. In a large pitcher, add the blackberries, orange slices, lemon slices, and lime slices.
  4. Pour in the red wine and orange liqueur.
  5. If desired, stir in the sugar until dissolved, adjusting to taste.
  6. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let the flavors meld.
  7. Just before serving, add the soda water or lemon-lime soda for fizz.
  8. Stir gently to combine and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
