Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 mL) blanco tequila
  • 1 fresh jalapeño pepper, sliced
  • 1 oz (30 mL) jalapeño-infused tequila
  • 1 oz (30 mL) freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 0.5 oz (15 mL) agave syrup
  • 3 oz (90 mL) club soda
  • Optional garnish: lime wedge and sliced jalapeño

Instructions:

  1. Combine the tequila and sliced jalapeños in a mason jar.
  2. Seal tightly and allow to infuse in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 24 hours for more heat).
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 oz of jalapeño-infused tequila, lime juice, and agave syrup.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  5. Strain the mixture into a glass filled with fresh ice.
  6. Top with club soda and give a gentle stir.
  7. Garnish with a lime wedge and a few slices of jalapeño if desired.
