Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 mL) blanco tequila
- 1 fresh jalapeño pepper, sliced
- 1 oz (30 mL) jalapeño-infused tequila
- 1 oz (30 mL) freshly squeezed lime juice
- 0.5 oz (15 mL) agave syrup
- 3 oz (90 mL) club soda
- Optional garnish: lime wedge and sliced jalapeño
Instructions:
- Combine the tequila and sliced jalapeños in a mason jar.
- Seal tightly and allow to infuse in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 24 hours for more heat).
- In a cocktail shaker, combine 1 oz of jalapeño-infused tequila, lime juice, and agave syrup.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into a glass filled with fresh ice.
- Top with club soda and give a gentle stir.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and a few slices of jalapeño if desired.
