Ingredients:
- 2 ½ ounces (75 ml) gin (London dry gin recommended)
- ½ ounce (15 ml) dry vermouth
- A few dashes of orange bitters (optional)
- 1 lemon twist or 1 green olive for garnish
Instructions:
- Chill the cocktail glass by filling it with ice water.
- In a cocktail shaker or mixing glass, add ice cubes to fill halfway.
- Pour in the gin and vermouth.
- If desired, add a few dashes of orange bitters.
- Stir gently for about 30 seconds until well-chilled.
- Empty the ice water from the chilled glass.
- Strain the mixture into the glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist or green olive.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
