Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ ounces (75 ml) gin (London dry gin recommended)
  • ½ ounce (15 ml) dry vermouth
  • A few dashes of orange bitters (optional)
  • 1 lemon twist or 1 green olive for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Chill the cocktail glass by filling it with ice water.
  2. In a cocktail shaker or mixing glass, add ice cubes to fill halfway.
  3. Pour in the gin and vermouth.
  4. If desired, add a few dashes of orange bitters.
  5. Stir gently for about 30 seconds until well-chilled.
  6. Empty the ice water from the chilled glass.
  7. Strain the mixture into the glass.
  8. Garnish with a lemon twist or green olive.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy.
