Ingredients:

  • 5 fluid ounces Vodka
  • 1 fluid ounce Coffee Liqueur (such as Kahlúa)
  • 1 fluid ounce Heavy Cream (or Half-and-half)
  • 3 fluid ounces Cola, chilled
  • Sufficient Ice cubes
  • 1 Maraschino cherry or orange slice (optional garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the serving glass: If time allows, chill a rocks glass or highball glass (10-12 oz) in the freezer for 5 minutes. Fill the chilled glass with 3–4 large, fresh ice cubes.
  2. Build the base: Measure and pour the Vodka (1.5 oz) and the Coffee Liqueur (1 oz) over the ice.
  3. Add the cream: Gently pour the Heavy Cream (1 oz) into the mixture. Do not stir yet, allowing the spirits and cream to settle.
  4. Add the fizz: Slowly and carefully pour the chilled Cola (3 oz) over the creamy base. Pouring slowly helps maximize the fizz and creates a visible layered effect.
  5. Optional Stir: If desired, give the entire drink one single, gentle rotation with a bar spoon for an integrated flavor profile.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with a maraschino cherry or an orange slice on the rim. Serve the Colorado Bulldog immediately.
