Ingredients:
- 8 oz dried rice noodles
- 2 quarts water
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp neutral oil
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
Instructions:
- Bring 2 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Once boiling, remove from the heat source and let the water rest for 60 seconds to reach approximately 195°F (90°C).
- Place the dried rice noodles in a large heatproof glass or stainless steel bowl. Pour the off-boil water over the noodles until they are completely submerged.
- Add the sea salt, neutral oil, and rice vinegar to the soaking water. Use tongs to gently wiggle and separate the strands to ensure even hydration and prevent tangling.
