Ingredients:
- 4 cork tiles, 12 x 12 inches
- 1 can of adhesive spray or durable glue
- 1 roll of decorative fabric (or decorative paper) - approximately 2 yards
- Sealer (mod podge or other clear finish, optional)
Instructions:
- Clear a space on your table and cover it to protect the surface.
- Use the ruler to ensure cork tiles are 12 x 12 inches; trim if necessary.
- Measure and cut fabric or decorative paper to slightly larger than the cork tiles (approx. 14 x 14 inches).
- Spray one side of the cork tile with adhesive.
- Carefully place the fabric/paper on top, smoothing out any air bubbles.
- Use scissors to trim the excess fabric/paper along the edges of the cork tile.
- If desired, apply a clear sealer over the fabric to protect it from stains or spills.
- Allow placemats to sit for about one hour to ensure everything is set properly.
- Inspect and trim any unruly edges.
