Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) shelf stable lactose free milk
- 1 cup (240 ml) coconut milk (canned or carton)
- 1 tablespoon almond extract
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Toasted coconut flakes (optional)
- Extra cinnamon (for dusting)
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, combine shelf stable lactose free milk and coconut milk.
- Heat over medium-low until steaming but not boiling.
- Add almond extract, maple syrup, and ground cinnamon and whisk together.
- Use a whisk or milk frother to create a frothy texture (optional).
- Pour the mixture into two mugs.
- Sprinkle with toasted coconut flakes and extra cinnamon, if desired.
