Ingredients:
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 large loaf of French or Italian bread (about 16 ounces)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Mix until smooth and well blended.
- Slice the loaf in half lengthwise.
- Generously spread the garlic butter mixture over the cut sides of the bread.
- Distribute the shredded mozzarella evenly over the buttered bread, followed by a sprinkle of Parmesan.
- Wrap the bread halves loosely in tinfoil and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes.
- Open the foil and broil for an additional 2–3 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before cutting into pieces.
