  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • Optional: Chocolate sauce or maple syrup
  • Optional: Whipped cream and fresh berries

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturers instructions.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine milk, water, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Grease the waffle iron if necessary. Pour the recommended amount of batter onto the hot iron and cook until golden brown.
  6. Remove the cooked waffle and keep warm. Repeat with remaining batter.
  7. Place two waffles on each plate, top with a scoop of ice cream, and drizzle with chocolate sauce or syrup if desired. Garnish with whipped cream and berries.
