- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup whole milk
- ½ cup water
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
- Optional: Chocolate sauce or maple syrup
- Optional: Whipped cream and fresh berries
Instructions:
- Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturers instructions.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine milk, water, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; do not overmix.
- Grease the waffle iron if necessary. Pour the recommended amount of batter onto the hot iron and cook until golden brown.
- Remove the cooked waffle and keep warm. Repeat with remaining batter.
- Place two waffles on each plate, top with a scoop of ice cream, and drizzle with chocolate sauce or syrup if desired. Garnish with whipped cream and berries.
