Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (200g) Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon (8g) Cornstarch (or Tapioca Starch for Gluten-Free)

Instructions:

  1. Add the granulated sugar and cornstarch to the blender or food processor.
  2. Pulse the mixture several times to start, then blend on high speed until the sugar is ground into a fine powder. Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure even processing.
  3. Let the dust settle for a minute or two before opening the blender or food processor.
  4. For an extra-smooth texture, sift the confectioners' sugar through a fine-mesh strainer.
  5. Transfer the homemade confectioners' sugar to an airtight container. It will keep for several months in a cool, dry place.
