Ingredients:
- 2 cups (480 mL) water
- 2 herbal tea bags (preferably chamomile or lemon ginger)
- 1/2 cup (120 mL) freshly squeezed lemonade
- 2 tablespoons (30 mL) honey (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) ground ginger (optional)
- Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Bring water to a rolling boil in a medium saucepan.
- Once boiling, remove from heat. Add the herbal tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes.
- While tea is steeping, combine freshly squeezed lemonade and honey in a separate bowl. Stir until honey is fully dissolved.
- Remove tea bags and discard. Pour the lemonade-honey mixture into the tea. Add ground ginger if using.
- Pour the warm drink into mugs and garnish with lemon slices if desired.
