Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (480 mL) water
  • 2 herbal tea bags (preferably chamomile or lemon ginger)
  • 1/2 cup (120 mL) freshly squeezed lemonade
  • 2 tablespoons (30 mL) honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2 g) ground ginger (optional)
  • Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Bring water to a rolling boil in a medium saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat. Add the herbal tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes.
  3. While tea is steeping, combine freshly squeezed lemonade and honey in a separate bowl. Stir until honey is fully dissolved.
  4. Remove tea bags and discard. Pour the lemonade-honey mixture into the tea. Add ground ginger if using.
  5. Pour the warm drink into mugs and garnish with lemon slices if desired.
