Ingredients:
- 2 cups (240g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (240ml) warm water (around 110°F or 43°C)
- 1 tablespoon (12g) sugar
- 1 teaspoon (5g) salt
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon (3g) instant yeast (or bread machine yeast)
Instructions:
- Ensure your bread maker is clean and assembled correctly.
- Pour warm water into the bread maker pan. Sprinkle sugar and salt on top of the water. Add olive oil. Carefully add the flour, ensuring it covers the water. Make a small indentation in the flour and add the yeast.
- Close the lid and select the 'Dough' setting on your bread maker. Start the machine. Allow it to knead and rise until the cycle is completed (usually about 1 hour).
- The dough should be smooth and elastic. If it seems sticky, add a small amount of flour; if it's too dry, add a bit of water.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface. Divide it into two equal pieces and shape them into discs.
- Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before rolling out.
- While the dough rests, preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the dough to your desired thickness, top with your favorite sauce and toppings, and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
