  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil (5 ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (2 g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (2 g)

Instructions:

  1. In a small mixing bowl, add cornstarch, brown sugar, garlic powder, ground ginger, crushed red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Use a whisk or fork to ensure all dry ingredients are evenly mixed.
  3. Pour in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to the bowl.
  4. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated and a thick paste forms, adding water if needed for a thinner consistency.
  5. Transfer the seasoning mix to an airtight container for storage.
