Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 mL) White Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon (15 g) Baking Soda
- 2 cups (480 mL) Water
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine the white vinegar and baking soda. Stir until combined to create a bubbly mixture.
- Add 2 cups of water to the bubbly mixture and stir gently to combine.
- Pour the solution into the tea makers water reservoir.
- Start a brewing cycle without adding tea. Let the mixture run through the system, which may take 10-15 minutes.
- Once the cycle is complete, discard any remaining mixture and rinse the reservoir with fresh water, running a new cycle to clear out any cleaner residue.
- Use a sponge or cloth to wipe the exterior and interior parts of the tea maker.
- Run one more cycle with just clean water to ensure all traces of the cleaning solution are removed.
