Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 mL) White Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon (15 g) Baking Soda
  • 2 cups (480 mL) Water

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the white vinegar and baking soda. Stir until combined to create a bubbly mixture.
  2. Add 2 cups of water to the bubbly mixture and stir gently to combine.
  3. Pour the solution into the tea makers water reservoir.
  4. Start a brewing cycle without adding tea. Let the mixture run through the system, which may take 10-15 minutes.
  5. Once the cycle is complete, discard any remaining mixture and rinse the reservoir with fresh water, running a new cycle to clear out any cleaner residue.
  6. Use a sponge or cloth to wipe the exterior and interior parts of the tea maker.
  7. Run one more cycle with just clean water to ensure all traces of the cleaning solution are removed.
