Ingredients:
- 3 oz London dry gin
- 1.5 oz elderflower liqueur, such as St-Germain
- 1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 4 oz tonic water (to taste)
- Ice cubes (for serving)
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges or twists (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Wash fresh mint leaves and slice lemon into wedges or twists.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine gin, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into two ice-filled glasses.
- Slowly pour tonic water into each glass to taste.
- Add a sprig of mint and a lemon twist or wedge to each glass.
