Ingredients:
- 1 green tea bag
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup chilled club soda
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 5 fresh mint leaves
- 1 slice of lemon
- 1 sprig of fresh mint
- 1 cup ice cubes
Instructions:
- Heat the filtered water until it just begins to simmer (approximately 175°F/80°C).
- Steep the green tea bag or loose leaves for 3 to 5 minutes until the water turns a pale jade color.
- Remove the tea bag and stir in the honey or simple syrup while the tea is still warm to ensure it dissolves completely.
- Fill a highball glass or mason jar to the brim with ice cubes.
- Pour the cooled green tea concentrate over the ice.
- Add the fresh lemon juice and drop in the fresh mint leaves.
- Top the glass with chilled club soda.
- Using a long spoon, give the drink one gentle lift from the bottom to integrate flavors without removing carbonation.
- Garnish with a lemon slice and a mint sprig.
