Ingredients:
- 4 pork or chicken sausages (about 1 pound / 450g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15ml)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup mayonnaise (120ml)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (15ml)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15ml)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5g)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (15g)
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (15g)
- Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, parsley, dill, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Whisk until smooth and well combined.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Brush the sausages with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place sausages on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F/71°C).
- Remove sausages from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.
- Serve with the mayo twist on the side or generously spread on top.
