Ingredients:

  • 10 cloves garlic, peeled (approx. 100g)
  • 6 anchovy fillets, packed in oil, drained
  • 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil (240ml)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (30g)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 small bunch of radishes, tops trimmed
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 loaf of crusty bread, cut into pieces

Instructions:

  1. Peel and lightly crush garlic cloves.
  2. Rinse anchovy fillets under cold water, chop them into small pieces.
  3. In a small saucepan, pour in the olive oil and place over a low flame.
  4. Gently add garlic to the oil and sauté until soft and fragrant, about 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the chopped anchovies until dissolved, blending with the oil and garlic.
  6. Add the butter, stirring until melted and the mixture becomes silky.
  7. Season with black pepper and transfer to a serving bowl.
  8. Prepare and arrange vegetables and bread around the bowl.
