Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons dried basil (15 ml)
- 2 tablespoons dried oregano (15 ml)
- 1 tablespoon dried rosemary, crushed (7.5 ml)
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme (7.5 ml)
- 1 tablespoon dried marjoram (7.5 ml)
- 1 teaspoon dried garlic powder (5 ml)
- 1 teaspoon dried onion powder (5 ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage (2.5ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, adjust to taste) (1.25 ml)
Instructions:
- In a small mixing bowl, combine all the dried herbs and spices.
- Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Taste the seasoning and adjust the amounts of individual herbs or spices to your preference. Add more red pepper flakes for a spicier blend.
- Transfer the Italian seasoning to an airtight container or jar. Store in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months.
