Ingredients:

  • 4-6 ears of fresh corn on the cob, shucked and cleaned (about 1.2-1.5 kg)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) water
  • 2 tablespoons (28 g) unsalted butter (optional, for serving)
  • Salt, to taste (optional)
  • Fresh herbs or cheese, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Shuck the corn, removing all the husks and silk. Rinse under cold water.
  2. Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot.
  3. Arrange the corn on the trivet or in the steamer basket inside the pot.
  4. Close the lid securely and ensure the vent is set to 'Sealing.' Select the manual pressure cook setting and set the timer for 3 minutes.
  5. Wait for the Instant Pot to build pressure (this will take about 5-10 minutes).
  6. After cooking, perform a quick release of pressure.
  7. Carefully open the lid. Use tongs to remove the corn and serve immediately with butter, salt, or your favorite toppings.
