Ingredients:
- 4-6 ears of fresh corn on the cob, shucked and cleaned (about 1.2-1.5 kg)
- 1 cup (240 ml) water
- 2 tablespoons (28 g) unsalted butter (optional, for serving)
- Salt, to taste (optional)
- Fresh herbs or cheese, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Shuck the corn, removing all the husks and silk. Rinse under cold water.
- Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot.
- Arrange the corn on the trivet or in the steamer basket inside the pot.
- Close the lid securely and ensure the vent is set to 'Sealing.' Select the manual pressure cook setting and set the timer for 3 minutes.
- Wait for the Instant Pot to build pressure (this will take about 5-10 minutes).
- After cooking, perform a quick release of pressure.
- Carefully open the lid. Use tongs to remove the corn and serve immediately with butter, salt, or your favorite toppings.
