Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240ml) water
  • 1 bag (2g) green tea
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tbsp (21g) honey
  • 2 slices (10g) fresh lime
  • 3-4 leaves (1g) fresh mint

Instructions:

  1. Heat water until it just begins to simmer (roughly 175°F/80°C). Steep the green tea for exactly 3 minutes until the liquid turns a clear, pale amber, then remove the tea bag or strain the leaves immediately.
  2. While the tea is still warm, stir in the honey until completely dissolved. Pour in the fresh lime juice and stir gently.
  3. Fill a tall glass to the brim with large ice cubes and pour the lime green tea mixture directly over the ice to flash-chill the beverage.
  4. Garnish with fresh lime slices and mint leaves before serving.
