Ingredients:
- 2 oz Coffee Liqueur
- 2 oz Vodka
- 2 oz Club Soda
- Crushed ice
Instructions:
- Place your rocks glass in the freezer for 5 minutes before starting. A cold glass helps maintain the density of the liquids.
- Fill the chilled glass to the brim with crushed ice. Crushed ice acts as a filter and support structure for layering.
- Slowly pour the coffee liqueur directly over the ice. As the densest ingredient, it will settle at the bottom.
- Place the back of a bar spoon just above the coffee liqueur layer. Slowly pour the vodka over the back of the spoon to create a distinct clear layer.
- Repeat the spoon technique with the chilled club soda, pouring gently to ensure the soda remains the top layer without agitating the vodka.
- Insert two straws all the way to the bottom of the glass. Do not stir before serving.
