Ingredients:
- 3 oz (90 ml) Prosecco, chilled per cocktail
- 2 oz (60 ml) elderflower cordial
- 1 oz (30 ml) soda water, chilled
- 5 fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
- 1/2 lime, cut into wedges
- Ice cubes
- Extra slices of lime and fresh fruit for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Gather all ingredients and tools. Chill the Prosecco and soda water in advance.
- In a mixing glass, add the mint leaves and lime wedges. Gently muddle them together to release the mint oils and lime juice.
- Add the elderflower cordial to the muddled mixture.
- If using a shaker, add ice and shake gently for a few seconds. If not, simply stir to combine.
- Fill two glasses with ice. Strain the mixture evenly into both glasses.
- Slowly pour the Prosecco (3 oz each) into each glass, followed by soda water.
- Add extra mint leaves and lime slices for garnish.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing taste of the Hugo Spritz!
