Ingredients:

- 1 cup (240ml) whole milk
- ½ cup (120ml) vegetable oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup (240ml) boiling water
- 1 cup (230g) unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups (500g) powdered sugar
- ½ cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ cup (60ml) heavy cream
- 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:
- Grease and flour the round cake pans.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Whisk in eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
- Stir in boiling water until well combined.
- Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow cakes to cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Beat softened butter until creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
- Add heavy cream and vanilla; beat until fluffy.
- Level the tops of the cakes. Place one layer on a cake board and spread a layer of frosting on top.
- Add the second layer and frost the top and sides of the cake.
- Use the frosting to create a textured finish and add edible grass or coconut flakes.
- Place mini monster truck toys on top and around the cake for decoration.
