Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for juiciness)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese (optional)
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Pickles
- Ketchup and mustard
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty, about 1 inch thick, and create a slight indentation in the center.
- Place the patties on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Add cheese during the last 2 minutes of baking if using.
- Toast hamburger buns in the oven for 2-3 minutes if desired while burgers bake.
- Place burgers on buns and top with desired toppings. Serve immediately.
