Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240ml) ripe papaya, peeled, seeded, and cubed
- ½ cup (120ml) orange juice, fresh or from concentrate
- ¼ cup (60ml) plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lime juice, fresh
- ½ teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- ½ cup (120ml) ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions:
- Peel, seed, and cube the papaya.
- Add the papaya, orange juice, Greek yogurt, lime juice, and ginger to the blender.
- Add the ice cubes.
- Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, add a splash more orange juice. If too thin, add more ice.
- Taste the papaya smoothie and add honey or maple syrup to sweeten, if desired. Blend briefly to incorporate.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately! Garnish with a slice of papaya or lime wedge, if you're feeling fancy.
