Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240ml) ripe papaya, peeled, seeded, and cubed
  • ½ cup (120ml) orange juice, fresh or from concentrate
  • ¼ cup (60ml) plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice, fresh
  • ½ teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • ½ cup (120ml) ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Peel, seed, and cube the papaya.
  2. Add the papaya, orange juice, Greek yogurt, lime juice, and ginger to the blender.
  3. Add the ice cubes.
  4. Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, add a splash more orange juice. If too thin, add more ice.
  5. Taste the papaya smoothie and add honey or maple syrup to sweeten, if desired. Blend briefly to incorporate.
  6. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately! Garnish with a slice of papaya or lime wedge, if you're feeling fancy.
