Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Lemon wedges and fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine all seasoning ingredients.
- Whisk until well blended. Set aside.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- Brush fillets with olive oil on both sides.
- Generously sprinkle the potlatch seasoning over the salmon fillets, coating evenly.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
- Place seasoned salmon on the grill, skin-side down.
- Grill for 4-6 minutes, then carefully flip and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes until salmon is opaque and flakes easily.
- Remove salmon from the grill. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh herbs, if desired. Enjoy!
