- 0.5 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- 0.75 cup (150g) brown sugar, packed
- 2 tbsp (16g) pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tbsp (8g) ground cinnamon
- 0.5 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 0.5 cup (100g) brown sugar, packed
- 0.33 cup (80ml) pure maple syrup
- 1 cup (115g) chopped pecans
Instructions:
- Whisk flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in the mixer bowl.
- Add warm milk, pumpkin puree, melted butter, and egg to the dry ingredients.
- Mix on low until a shaggy dough forms, then increase to medium for 5-7 minutes until the dough is smooth and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm spot for 60 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Gently punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a 12x18 inch (30x45 cm) rectangle.
- Spread the softened butter evenly across the surface, then sprinkle with brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 12 even rounds using a sharp knife.
