Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 medium lemons)
- 3 cups (720 ml) cold water
- 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) rosewater
- Ice cubes, to serve
- Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
- Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Squeeze the fresh lemons to yield 1 cup of juice. Strain if necessary to remove seeds.
- In a medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar with 1 cup hot water. Stir until fully dissolved.
- In a large pitcher, mix the dissolved sugar syrup, lemon juice, 3 cups cold water, and 2 tablespoons rosewater.
- Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness or rose flavor as desired by adding more sugar or rosewater.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Fill glasses with ice, pour the rose lemonade over, and garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices if desired.
