Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat
  2. Add minced garlic to the pan. Sauté until fragrant and golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Lower the heat and add the softened cream cheese to the pan, stirring until melted and combined with the butter.
  4. Gradually whisk in the heavy cream until smooth and creamy.
  5. Stir in the salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes, if using, adjusting to taste.
  6. Continue cooking on low heat until the sauce is heated through and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
