Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) water
  • 1 cup (200 g) erythritol (or your preferred sugar substitute)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the water and erythritol.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and whisk to dissolve the sweetener completely.
  3. Once the sweetener is dissolved, add vanilla extract, salt, and optional cinnamon.
  4. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and allow the syrup to cool. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator.
