Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) water
- 1 cup (200 g) erythritol (or your preferred sugar substitute)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions:
- In a medium saucepan, combine the water and erythritol.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and whisk to dissolve the sweetener completely.
- Once the sweetener is dissolved, add vanilla extract, salt, and optional cinnamon.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and allow the syrup to cool. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator.
