Ingredients:
- 2 cups (300g) fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 4 ounces (120ml) tequila (preferably blanco)
- 2 ounces (60ml) fresh lime juice
- 1 ounce (30ml) agave syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)
- 1-2 fresh jalapeño slices (adjust for spice level)
- Ice cubes
- Lime wedges for garnish
- Sea salt or Tajín seasoning for garnish
- Additional sliced strawberries for garnish
Instructions:
- Hull and slice fresh strawberries.
- In a mixing glass, add strawberries and jalapeño slices. Muddle gently to release juices, ensuring not to puree.
- Add tequila, lime juice, and agave syrup into the mixing glass. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into rocks glasses filled with ice.
- Rim glasses with lime juice and dip in sea salt or Tajín. Garnish with lime wedges and additional strawberry slices.
- Enjoy immediately, and toast to summer!
