Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (300g) fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 4 ounces (120ml) tequila (preferably blanco)
  • 2 ounces (60ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce (30ml) agave syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)
  • 1-2 fresh jalapeño slices (adjust for spice level)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedges for garnish
  • Sea salt or Tajín seasoning for garnish
  • Additional sliced strawberries for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Hull and slice fresh strawberries.
  2. In a mixing glass, add strawberries and jalapeño slices. Muddle gently to release juices, ensuring not to puree.
  3. Add tequila, lime juice, and agave syrup into the mixing glass. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  4. Strain the mixture into rocks glasses filled with ice.
  5. Rim glasses with lime juice and dip in sea salt or Tajín. Garnish with lime wedges and additional strawberry slices.
  6. Enjoy immediately, and toast to summer!
