Ingredients:
- 40 saltine crackers
- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar
- 2 cups (340g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup (70g) Halloween-themed candies
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C); line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay out the saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together over medium heat, stirring until bubbly. Boil for 3 minutes without stirring.
- Immediately pour the hot toffee over the arranged crackers, making sure they are evenly covered.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips over the hot toffee.
- Let the chocolate sit for 5 minutes, then use a spatula to spread it smoothly.
- Sprinkle festive candies on top while the chocolate is still warm.
- Allow cooling at room temperature or refrigerate for 30 minutes until set.
- Once set, break into pieces and serve!
