Ingredients:

  • 2 oz (60ml) Gin (London Dry or your favorite gin, good quality is key!)
  • ¾ oz (22ml) Fresh Lime Juice
  • ¾ oz (22ml) Simple Syrup (equal parts sugar and water, heated until dissolved and then cooled)
  • Lime wheel or wedge, for garnish
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Chill your cocktail glass. You can pop it in the freezer for a few minutes or fill it with ice and water while you prepare the drink.
  2. Add gin, lime juice, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice.
  4. Shake vigorously until the shaker is very cold (about 15-20 seconds). You want that drink properly chilled and slightly diluted.
  5. Strain the mixture into your chilled cocktail glass.
  6. Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge.
  7. Serve immediately!
