Ingredients:

  • 4 cups brewed black tea, preferably chilled
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar, adjust to taste
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice, approx. 8-10 lemons
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup vodka or bourbon, adjust according to taste
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Brew black tea in a teapot or kettle. Let it steep for 5-7 minutes. Sweeten with sugar while still warm, stirring until dissolved. Allow to cool to room temperature.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add cold water and stir to combine.
  3. In the pitcher with lemonade, add the chilled brewed tea and vodka (or bourbon). Stir gently to mix.
  4. Fill glasses with ice cubes, then pour the spiked Arnold Palmer over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves.
