Ingredients:
- 4 cups brewed black tea, preferably chilled
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar, adjust to taste
- 2 lemons, juiced
- 2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice, approx. 8-10 lemons
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups cold water
- 1 cup vodka or bourbon, adjust according to taste
- Lemon slices for garnish
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- Brew black tea in a teapot or kettle. Let it steep for 5-7 minutes. Sweeten with sugar while still warm, stirring until dissolved. Allow to cool to room temperature.
- In a large pitcher, combine freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add cold water and stir to combine.
- In the pitcher with lemonade, add the chilled brewed tea and vodka (or bourbon). Stir gently to mix.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes, then pour the spiked Arnold Palmer over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves.
