Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) water
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • ½ cup (120 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) pure yuzu juice
  • 4 cups (960 ml) cold water
  • Ice as needed
  • Lemon and/or Yuzu slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  2. In a pitcher, combine the cooled simple syrup, lemon juice, and yuzu juice.
  3. Pour in the cold water and stir well to combine.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Pour over ice and garnish with lemon or yuzu slices, if desired.
