Ingredients:
- 2 cups (200g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (100g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (240ml) evaporated milk
- 1 can (4 oz / 113g) diced green chilies
- 1-2 jalapeños, diced
- 1 teaspoon (5g) garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon (5g) onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Shred cheddar cheese if not pre-shredded and dice jalapeños.
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together cream cheese and evaporated milk over medium heat until smooth.
- Gradually stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until melted and creamy.
- Fold in the diced green chilies and jalapeños, heating just until warmed through.
- Pour the cheese dip into a serving bowl and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
